Learn about tarot cards, suits and simple spreads

Understanding the Tarot Deck

🔮 The tarot deck is a mystical tool for divination, reflection, and growth. It includes 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana for life's big themes, and 56 Minor Arcana for everyday events. Together, they offer insights into past, present, and future, guiding personal decisions and growth.

Major Arcana Cards

✨ The Major Arcana are the deck's core, symbolizing key life themes and archetypes. They include transformative cards like the Fool (new beginnings), the Magician (skill), and the High Priestess (intuition). These cards illuminate the big picture of life.

Tarot Card Suits and Elements

🃏 The tarot has four suits, each linked to life aspects and elements:

  • Wands: 🔥 Creativity and energy (Fire)

  • Cups: 💧 Emotions and intuition (Water)

  • Swords: 🌬️ Thoughts and clarity (Air)

  • Pentacles: 🌍 Material and finance (Earth)

Tarot Spreads and Readings

🃏 Tarot spreads arrange cards to explore questions. Popular spreads include the Celtic Cross for comprehensive insights and the Three-Card spread for quick glimpses into past, present, and future. Readings can be a single card or more, offering nuanced answers.
