Greenstone Toki Giveaway Terms

These terms apply to the Rivendell Shop greenstone (pounamu) toki giveaway on Instagram and Facebook.

Promoter

Dates

Entries open when the giveaway post goes live on Friday 6 November 2026 and close at 11.59pm NZ time on Thursday 12 November 2026. Late entries are not counted.

Who can enter

New Zealand residents aged 18 or over. Rivendell Shop staff and their immediate families cannot enter.

How to enter

  • Instagram: follow @rivendellofficial, like the giveaway post and tag a friend in the comments. Each different friend tagged is one entry, up to five entries. Sharing the post to your Story and tagging @rivendellofficial gives three extra entries. Private accounts can send us a screenshot by direct message.
  • Facebook: follow the Rivendell Shop page, like the giveaway post and tag a friend in the comments. Each different friend tagged is one entry, up to five entries. Sharing the post gives three extra entries.

Entries must come from genuine personal accounts. We may remove entries that are automated, fake or that break these terms.

Prizes

Two prizes: one for an Instagram winner and one for a Facebook winner. Each prize is one Greenstone (Pounamu) Toki pendant, NZ-made, on a braided cord with a greenstone toggle, in a Rivendell gift box (retail value NZ$130). Each piece is individually carved, so the size and shape vary slightly. Delivery within New Zealand is free. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Drawing and contacting winners

We draw one winner at random from valid Instagram entries and one from valid Facebook entries on Friday 13 November 2026, and announce them on the giveaway posts. We contact each winner by direct message from our official account within 48 hours of the draw. If a winner does not reply within 7 days, we draw another winner at random.

We will never ask you to pay, click a link or give card details to claim a prize. Please ignore any message that does, and report the account.

Your details

We use winners' names and delivery addresses only to send the prize.
