Stainless Steel Necklace Chain

I bought the chain but also bought a "Quartz" pendant. I may be a little entrusting so when I heat tested the pendant it showed cracks and deformities. Quartz only blackens under heat, and does not crack. I don't know what this pendant is but it certainly is not Quartz. I followed up with a complaint email that has not been replied to. The chain is only a chain and is fine!
